Lecture 6, #3 PROBLEM DESCRIPTION |
A novice skier (mass 50 kg) begins her downhill run on
the bunny slope
(inclined a gentle 10° above the horizontal), starting from rest.
She doesn’t know that the bunny slope she is going down is not smooth
at all,
but very rough because a herd of rogue reindeer has just been playing
freeze tag.
After traveling a distance of 25 m along the hill, she is going at a
speed of 5 m/s. |
