PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

You have three identical springs of spring constant 20 N/m. One spring is attached to a 500 g mass, which sits on a horizontal frictionless surface, as shown in figure A. The other two springs are attached to an identical 500 g mass, as shown in figure B. Determine the periods of oscillation for these two masses.
