Bachelor
of Arts music major
A
general program of study of music within the liberal arts designed
to equip student with broad background in music theory, history
and performance. Bachelor of Arts majors are expected to participate
in one or more of the vocal or instrumental performing organizations
of the music department for at least six semesters and to attend
recitals and other musical events.
Bachelor
of Music degree
More
highly specialized, with individualized professional programs.
Before admission, candidate must audition. Students may choose
from four curricula:
