The best way to reach Zakopane is to fly to Krakow and take a bus to Zakopane. There are direct flights to the John Paul II International Airport in Krakow from most major cities in Europe. Transportation to the Central Bus Terminal in Krakow is by train, bus, or taxi. Go to the airport web site http://www.lotnisko-balice.pl/eng/jak_dojechac.asp for information regarding instructions, schedules, and fares. The intercity bus company PKS has hourly buses from Krakow to Zakopane. The trip takes about 2 hours. The hotel is a short walk or taxi ride from the bus station.
There are numerous interesting sites in and around Krakow, and conference participants might want to consider spending a few days there before or after the conference.
Accommodations
The conference will take place at the Hotel Daglezja, and you can make reservations with them via e-mail to rezerwacja@daglezja.com.pl. Room rates are 270 zlotys per night including breakfast and lunch.
Registration
