![]() Changing Your Blackboard Password (Non-Bucknell Users Only)Please note that starting with our installation of Blackboard Version 8 in summer 2008, the Blackboard password for all Bucknell users is now your "Bucknell Password". In other words, to log in to Blackboard, you use the same password you use to log in to the network, check your email, etc. Changing your password within Blackboard doesn't actually change anything. You need to change your Bucknell/File Services password, since Blackboard checks against that password when authenticating you. If you have a "guest" account on Blackboard and are not officially a member of the Bucknell community, then you don't have a "Bucknell" password, and you should have been given an initial password when your account was created. Only people with "guest" accounts can change their password, following these instructions:
