Full Information on BUWX Data Files

All other data are stored in comma delimited ASCII text files and are arranged in two different arrays, labeled "101" and "102." The 101 data are collected each hour. The 102 array contains daily summary values.

"Adjusted" data files are broken down into seperate files for 101 and 102 arrays, use a calendar (mm/dd) date format, and are adjusted for daylight savings time in the 101 array (see below). These are the most user-friendly files (instructions for using these files below).

"Raw" data files use a Julian day date format, are not adjusted for daylight savings time, and include 101 and 102 arrays in the same file (these must be separated before using them; see below). Raw data files should only be used if you need Julian day date formats and do not want adjustments for daylight savings time.

None of the data files (except the Excel files in the archive) include column names, so you must download column name files from the links below; note that there are different column names for the 101 and 102 arrays.

Old Data Files: Summer '03

Test data collected while the datalogger program was under development. Represents a continuous data series for approx. 3 months, but some readings may be missing. Output variables and column order do not correspond to newer data, though the older and newer data sets can be reconciled.
