Teacher tenure hearing

A teacher tenure hearing is any hearing that is held before the Secretary of Education, which is conducted pursuant to §11-1131 of the Pennsylvania School Code. Chapter 351, "Teacher Tenure Hearings", of the Regulations of the State Board of Education in 22 Pa Code §§ 351.1 to 351.10 concern such hearings: purpose and scope; definitions; petitions of appeal; rules of practice and procedure; appeals from denial of a hearing; conduct of participants; briefs; testimony; continuance; and compliance.
