State Board of Vocational Education
The twenty-one members of the Pennsylvania State Board of Education also constitute the State Board of Vocational Education, which operates as a separate agency. The Board has authority over vocational industrial, vocational agricultural, vocational homemaking, vocational distributive and vocational business and office occupational education, as specified in 24 PS § 18-1803. The Secretary of Education is the executive officer of the State Board of Vocational Education. The Secretary has the duty to report annually to the Standing Committees of the Senate and House of Representatives in accordance with 24 PS § 18-1803.1.
