Code of student conduct
The State Board of Education regulations in 22 PA Code § 12.3(c) require each board of school directors to adopt a code of student conduct that includes policies governing student discipline as well as a listing of student rights and responsibilities as outlined in Chapter 12 of 22 PA Code. See 22 PA Code § 12.1, 22 PA Code §12.2 and 22 PA Code §12.9 for student rights and responsibilities. The school district must publish the code of student conduct and give copies to students and parents. Also, copies of the code must be available in each school library.
