1985 Special Collections Room
The Special Collections and University Archives were relocated to lower level one of the addition to the library. The windows to the left of the photograph were part of the original structure of the building, which opened on to a well that was located at the rear of the origninal structure. There were two such well located on each side of the rear enterance. In 1985, the windows faced stacks that were located on the new addition. This room is named the LaFayette Butler Reading Room.
