1965 Telescope Pier
The the telescope was mounted on the brick pier. The black triangle on the concrete on top of the brick pier is part of the mount. Directly above the mount is the axle which allows the telescope to rotate. Below the mount is an electrical box containing a switch that is used to move the dome. At the top of the photograph is the round wheel-like declination setting circle with counter weights attached.
