1965 Stephens razed
In 1965 all of the houses along South Sixth Street were demolished, with the exception of Ward House. Stephens House is partially razed in this photo. To the right of Stephens House is Ward House. The sidewalk in the foreground used to run along Sixth Street between the intersection of Loomis and Walker Streets to St. George Street. There was also a sidewalk on the other side of Sixth Street, which is slightly visible in the photograph.
