1945 Football Team
By 1945, a pressbox was in use in Memorial stadium. A wooden scoreboard was located at the enclosed end of the stadium. Football games were colorful and exciting events with the Bucknell marching band performing at halftime. At the Centennial Homecoming celebration in 1946, a small bison ran around on the field, secured by a leash.
