ulley House

In 1940, the University acquired the property located at 518 St. George Street, which was occupied by Delta Sigma, a local fraternity. In 1941, Delta Sigma, which became Delta Upsilon in 1950, moved out of the house to its new house on Fraternity Row on the Hill. In 1942, the Trustees determined that "...the former Delta Sigma house be hereafter known as the Hulley House." The house had been the home of Lincoln Hulley, Class of 1888 and Professor of History at Bucknell from 1893 to 1904 when he left Lewisburg to become the President of John B. Stetson University. He also served as a Bucknell Trustee from 1910 to 1934. In 1945, Hulley House was occupied by fifteen freshman women and a resident hostess.
