Dean's House

In 1926, the University purchased the house located at 90 University Avenue, at the corner of Malcom Street and University Avenue, as housing for Romeyn H. Rivenburg, Dean of the College, 1924-1935, and Vice President, 1936-1945. The building was purchased on March 15 from Rev. Dr. Joseph R. Wood, Assistant to the President, for $11,400.00, a legacy from the estate of Katherine B. Larison. Prior to its purchase by Wood, it was known as the Robert D. Darlington House.
