Bucknell Recitation
Hall
During the 1930's and the 1940's, the Annex to the Academy ( to the left in the photograph), which had been erected in 1889, was named the Bucknell Recitation Hall. It was connected to Taylor Hall ( to the right in the photograph ) by a covered passageway. It contained recitation rooms, laboratories for work in bacteriolo gy and physiology, and offices.
