1915 East College
This photograph shows East College and part of the Men's College Quadrangle. The observation tower is atop the building. There was a fire escape located on the south side of the building. At the north side of the building was a porch ( not visible in this photograph ). The east wing of Old Main is visible at the left in this photograph. The fountain in the left lower quadrant was a gift of the Class of 1910. At the left of the fountain was the entrance to the center of Old Main, and at the right was the quadrangle entrance of Carnegie Library. Note the fence separating the quadrangle from both the east wing of Old Main and East College. The view of the Susquehanna River from the observation tower was spectacular.
