1895 Dormitory Room
Three men sit in a dormitory room in this photograph, taken in 1900. Note the drapery around the bed on which the young man is sitting to the left. At this time, the men provided furnishings for their rooms, such as the chest and book shelves on top of it to the right-rear in the photo. There is an open ventilator above the door behind the young man seated at the table in the center of the photograph.
