circa 1895 Chemical Laboratory and Sixth Street
South Sixth Street is to the right in the photograph. The the first house to the right of the Chemical Laboratory was the home of William Gundy Owens who was Professor of Chemistry in 1895. A small stream passed next to the Chemical Laboratory over which a bridge was constructed, which is very slightly visible to the left in the photograph.
