August 2006 The Deaprtment welcomes Prof John Stahl, Prof Kathrym Hicks, and Prof. Lou Ann Tom to the department for 2006-07.
June 4-7 - 2006 Mark your calendars for MARM 2006 in Hershey PA. We will be sending a large group of students and faculty to this exciting meeting!
February 9- 2006: Two Visiting Assistant Faculty positions open in the chemistry department for 2006-2007.
September- 2005: University of Minnesota Chemistry Professor Thomas Hoye (Bucknell BS/MS Chemistry, 1972) has isolated and solved the structure of an important sea lamprey pheromone.
August - 2005: Professors Rovnyak (CHEM), Stockland, (CHEM), Strein (CHEM), Maneval (CHEM ENG), and Cunningham (PHYS), awarded $475k from the national science foundation to acquire a high field nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer for research on macromolecules.
