Status:CITES – Appendix I; U.S. ESA – Endangered; IUCN – Vulnerable.
Comments:Revised by Pocock (1932d). Placed in Pardofelis by Pocock (1932d), Weigel (1961), Král and Zima (1980), Kratochvíl (1982c), Hemmer (1978), and Groves (1982a). Synonyms allocated according to Ellerman and Morrison-Scott (1951).
