Type Locality:Papua New Guinea, Chimbu Prov., Kubor Range, Minj-nona Divide, 6°02'S, 144°45'E, 2,750 m.
Distribution:New Guinea.
Status:IUCN 2003 – Not evaluated; not considered in IUCN/SSC Action Plan (2001).
Comments:australisspecies group. Koopman (1982, 1994) treated kuboriensis as a subspecies of australis, but described character variation suggests that they represent distinct species. See Flannery (1995a) and Bonaccorso (1998).
