Type Locality:Philippines, Negros Isl, Negros Oriental Prov., Sibulan Municipality, 6 km W of Dumaguete City, Balinsasayo, (921'N, 12310'E), 835 m.
Distribution:Negros, Cebu, and Sibuyan Isls (Philippines); Karakelang Isl (Talaud Isls, Indonesia).
Status:IUCN/SSC Action Plan (1992) Endangered: Limited Distribution. IUCN 2003 Critically Endangered.
Comments:cephalotes species group. Corbet and Hill (1992) noted that rabori might be conspecific with cephalotes, but see Bergmans (2001).
