Type Locality:Kenya, east side of Aberdare Range, near Nyeri.
Distribution:Aberdare Range (Kenya).
Status:IUCN – Vulnerable.
Comments:Formerly in Myosorex; see Heim de Balsac and Meester (1977). Ecology and distribution described by Duncan and Wrangham (1971).
