Common Name:Annamite Striped Rabbit
Type Locality:"Vietnam, Ha Tinh Province, Huong Son District, Son Kim Community, about 10 km south from village Nuoc Sot, 18E22'N,105E13'E, altitude 200m."
Distribution:Known only from the vicinity of the type locality.
Status:IUCN – Data Deficient; presumed rare and potentially endangered.
Comments:Little is known about this recently described species, except that morphologically it is very similar to N. netscheri (Averianov et al., 2000; Surridge et al., 1999).
