Common Name:Moon-toothed Degu
Type Locality:Chile, Valparaiso Prov., Olmue.
Distribution:Coastal mountains of Valparaiso, Aconcagua, and Coquimbo Provs. (Chile) between 31o30’ and 35oS.
Status:IUCN – Lower Risk (lc). Common.
Comments:Included in Octodon bridgesi by Tamayo and Frassinetti (1980:354). Karyotype has 2n=78 (Spotorno et al., 1988).
