Common Name:Los Talas Tuco-tuco
Type Locality:Argentina, Buenos Aires Prov., Los Talas.
Distribution:Along the coast in Buenos Aires Prov. (E Argentina), possibly to Santa Fe Prov.
Status:IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
Comments:Considered a subspecies of mendocinus by Cabrera (1961). Karyotype has 2n=46-50 and FN =73-86 (see Reig et al., 1992).
