Common Name:Limestone Niviventer
Type Locality:Thailand, Saraburi Province, Kaengkhoi Dist., "outside the entrance to the bat cave, half-way up the face of a wooded limestone cliff, 200 meters altitude."
Distribution:Endemic to Korat Plateau in Thailand (J. T. Marshall, Jr.; specimens in AMNH and USNM).
Status:IUCN – Lower Risk (nt).
Comments:See Musser (1981b) for discussion of original citation. A very distinctive species (the only one with buffy underparts) that is morphometrically most closely related to N. fulvescens (Musser and Lunde, ms).
