Distribution:Tucumán, Salta, and Catamarca Provs., NW Argentina.
Comments:Compared with O. flavescens and O. longicaudatus by Massoia (1998) but details for recognition skimpy; additional study required to illuminate status, discrimination from other regional forms, and distribution.
