Common Name:Musso’s Ichthyomyine
Type Locality:Venezuela, Táchira State, 14 km SE Pregonero, Río Potosí, Paso Hondo, 1050 m.
Distribution:Known only from the type locality, far W Venezuela.
Status:IUCN – Endangered.
Comments:The two known specimens represent the least aquatically specialized ichthyomyine species described thus far.
