Common Name:Cordillera Occidental Akodont
Type Locality:Colombia, Valle del Cauca Dept., San Antonio, near Cali, 8000 ft (2438 m).
Distribution:Cordillera Occidental of W Colombia.
Status:IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
Comments:Subgenus Akodon. Tentatively affiliated with Microxus by Gyldenstolpe (1932), but Anthony (1924) had intimated its membership in Akodon and Cabrera (1961) arranged it as such.
