Common Name:Gobi Jerboa
Type Locality:Mongolia, Altai Gobi, Tsagan-Nur (Tsagaan Nuur).
Distribution:Deserts of S and W Mongolia (Bannikov, 1954; Sokolov et al., 1981a; adjacent Chinese provinces of Nei Mongolia, E Xinjiang, Ningxia (Ma et al., 1987), Gansu (Chen and Wang, 1985; Zheng and Zhang, 1990) and N Shaanxi (Wang, 1990).
Status:IUCN Lower Risk (nt).
Comments:Subgenus Orientallactaga. Closely related to A. balikunica (see that account).
