Common Name:Eastern Gray Squirrel
Type Locality:"Carolina."
Distribution:E Texas (USA) to Saskatchewan (Canada) and east to Atlantic Coast. Introduced into Britain, Scotland, Ireland, Italy, Australia, South Africa, and various localities in W North America.
Comments:Subgenus Sciurus (Hall, 1981:417). Reviewed by Koprowski (1994b, Mammalian Species No. 480).
