Type Locality:China, Kwangsi, Lungchow.
Distribution:N Vietnam, C Laos, Kwangsi (China).
Status:CITES – Appendix II; U.S. ESA – Endangered; IUCN – Vulnerable.
Comments:T. francoisi species group. The taxa poliocephalus, hatinhensis, laotum and delacouri, generally placed as subspecies of francoisi, were raised to specific rank by Brandon-Jones (1995).
