Common Name:Hose’s Langur
Type Locality:Malaysia, Sarawak, Niah.
Distribution:N and E Borneo: Brunei, E Sarawak, Sabah (Malaysia), south to Karangan River in Kalimantan (Indonesia).
Status:CITES – Appendix II; IUCN – Vulnerable as P. h. sabana, Data Deficient as P. h. hosei, P. h. canicrus and P. h. everetti. Nominotypical hosei perhaps extinct.
Comments:Separated from "aygula" (= comata) by Medway (1970:544). Possibly canicrus and sabana are distinct species (Groves, 2001c).
