Common Name:Rio Acari Marmoset
Type Locality:Brazil, Amazonas, "a small settlement on the right bank of the lower Rio Acari close to the confluence with the Rios Sucunduri and Canuma", 05°07’08"S, 60°01’14"W.
Distribution:Presumed to be the entire interfluvium of the Rios Acari and Sucunduri (Brazil).
Status:CITES – Appendix II; IUCN – Least Concern as Mico acariensis.
Comments:Subgenus Mico.
