Common Name:Striped Treeshrew
Type Locality:W Borneo, lower Kapuas River.
Distribution:Borneo: Sabah, Sarawak (Malaysia), Brunei, and Kalimantan (Indonesia) except SE, at low to moderate elevations (below 1,000 m).
Status:CITES – Appendix II; IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
Comments:Endemic to Borneo. United with T. tana in the genus Tana by Lyon (1913), but this arrangement is probably not natural (see Dene et al., 1978).
