Type Locality:Paraguay, restricted to "a 27° de lat. Sur" by Cabrera (1958).
Distribution:Uruguay, S Brazil, SE Paraguay, and NE Argentina.
Status:CITES – Appendix III (Uruguay); IUCN – Lower Risk (nt).
