Common Name:Ursine Tree-kangaroo
Type Locality:Indonesia, Prov. of Papua (= Irian Jaya), Fakfak Div., Lobo Dist., near Triton Bay, Mt. Lamantsjieri.
Distribution:Volgelkop and Fakfak peninsulas, extreme NW New Guinea, sea level to 2500 m.
Status:CITES – Appendix II; IUCN – Data Deficient.
Comments:Does not include inustus (see Kirsch and Calaby, 1977:17). Correct original citation presented by Husson (1955).
