Common Name:Tropical Antechinus
Type Locality:Australia, Queensland, Dinner Creek, now Charmillan Creek (1742S, 14531E), 885 m, near Ravenshoe.
Distribution:Australia: Dense tropical vine forests from Paluma (1900S, 14612E) to Mt. Spurgeon (1625' S, 14512'E).
Status:Unknown.
Comments:Van Dyck (1982) stated that what was then known as Antechinus stuartii adustus is probably a valid species. Van Dyck and Crowther (2000) definitively raised it to species rank.
