Type Locality:Perú, Ucayali, "Balta (10°08'S, 17°13'W), Río Curanja, ca. 300 meters."
Distribution:Amazon Basin of C Perú and W Brazil.
Comments:Previously included in P. andersoni; reviewed by Patton and Silva (1997). The spelling mcilhenyi Pérez-Hernández, 1990, is an incorrect subsequent spelling of mcilhennyi Gardner and Patton.
