| Comments: | Corbet (1978c:218) and others included nivicola in canadensis; but see Korobitsyna et al. (1974) and Gromov and Baranova (1981:407). Subspecies reviewed by Heptner et al. (1961) and Valdez (1982) whose synonymy is followed here. |
