Common Name:Long-tailed Goral
Type Locality:Russia, "Sibérie" (Amurland, Bureja Mtns).
Distribution:E Russia (Primorsky and Khabarovsk Territories), NE China (Heilonjiang, Jilin), and Korea.
Status:CITES – Appendix I; IUCN – Vulnerable as N. c. caudatus and N. c. raddeanus.
Comments:Fully described by Milne-Edwards, Rech. Hist. Nat. Mamm., Faune Chine, p. , pl.23, 23a, 23b [1868]. Regarded as a species distinct from N. goral by Groves and Grubb (1985). Reviewed by J. I. Mead (1989, Mammalian Species, 335, as Nemorhaedus goral).
