(1995, Mammalian Species, 491). Includes pelzelnii; see Gentry (1972:89); Haltenorth (1963:112) regarded it as a separate species. Due to differences in spelling Gazella dorcas massaesyla Cabrera, 1928 is not preoccupied by †Antilope (Dorcas) massoessilia Pomel, 1895 = †Gazella (or †Nanger) atlantica Bourguignat, 1870. |
