Type Locality:"Grand Canon of the Colorado (altitude 3,500 feet), [Coconino County, 1067 m] Arizona, north of San Francisco Mountain."
Distribution:Mexico (central plateau); USA (from the Puget Sound region in the west to an eastern boundary in Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, W Oklahoma and W Texas).
