Common Name:American Badger
Type Locality:"Er wohnt in Labrador und um die Hudsonsbay," restricted by Long (1972a), to "Carman, Manitoba." [Canada].
Distribution:Canada (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatschewan, Manitoba, Ontario), Mexico (Baja California N and C Mexico), USA (Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, and most states west of the Mississippi River, except Louisiana, Arkansas).
Status:IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
Comments:Reviewed by Long (1972a, 1973). Synonyms allocated according to Hall (1981) and Long (1973).
