Status:CITES – Appendix III (India); IUCN – Vulnerable as A. b. whitei, otherwise Lower Risk (lc).
Comments:Revised by Pocock (1933a). Synonyms allocated according to Pocock (1933a, 1941a), Ellerman and Morrison-Scott (1951), and D. D. Davis (1962).
