Common Name:Pygmy Fruit-eating Bat
Type Locality:Mexico, Yucatán, Chichén-Itzá.
Distribution:Veracruz, Sinaloa, and Michoacan (Mexico) south to Ecuador and Guyana.
Status:IUCN 2003 and IUCN/SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (lc).
Comments:Subgenus Dermanura. Includes nanus and turpis; see Jones and Lawlor (1965) and Davis (1970). For including ravus and other synomyms see Timm (1985) and Handley (1987).
