Sokolov and Shenbrot (1987b) showed that in addition to the retention of a rudimentary P4, S. andrewsi is differentiated from S. sungorus and S. telum in dental and phallic characters, and in greater bullar inflation. The ranges of S. andrewsi and S. sungorus are adjacent but do not overlap (Sokolov and Shenbrot, 1987b). See comments under S. sungorus and S. telum. |
