(2,896 m). | Distribution: | Known only from the type locality. | Status: | IUCN – Critically Endangered as Pappogeomys neglectus. | Comments: | Probably only a recent geographic isolate of tylorhinus (Monterrubio et al., 2000) or, along with tylorhinus, part of fumosus (Demastes et al., 2002).
